[Tournaments] Squids for Palestinian Kids is hosting a tournament on June 2nd
> Copied and pasted from the original at https://wetdry.world/@splatoon/112509269398477268 [https://wetdry.world/@splatoon/112509269398477268]. > > Sorry for no alt text on the image, unsure on how to do it with Sync. — Back in March, you may have remembered that we covered an event that the Splatoon content creator ProChara was hosting in support of the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. Our community here managed to raise an inkredible US$30 (at minimum) through the Tiltify campaign! As the situation is getting worse each day, Palestinian children need our help more than ever and one of the organisers from that event is hosting another round of support next week! On the 2nd of June at 6pm BST, SFPK will be hosting a tournament to raise more money for Palestine! Along with that, some content creators and influencers, including myself, will be running events throughout the week to raise money. I’m not quite ready to publish the post announcing our event but it will be happening on the 1st of June at 8:30pm BST (post should be out by tomorrow evening hopefully). To get notified about this, join us on Matrix at https://matrix.to/#/#splatoonevents:matrix.org [https://matrix.to/#/#splatoonevents:matrix.org]. To make a donation, use our Tiltify Amplify link to indicate it came from us at https://tilt.fyi/i7vrMKF69i [https://tilt.fyi/i7vrMKF69i]. If you’re interested in signing up, visit the Sendou page at https://sendou.ink/to/124/register [https://sendou.ink/to/124/register]. You’ll need Discord to use Sendou (just in case you didn’t know). They also have a Discord server set up at https://discord.com/invite/n2XAbBcUjr [https://discord.com/invite/n2XAbBcUjr]. The event will be live streamed at https://twitch.tv/SFPKsplatoon [https://twitch.tv/SFPKsplatoon].
Will be gone from here for a while sorry
## Community / Announcements: Splatoon Unofficial and Crossing Corner will not be mirrored to Lemmy until further notice Hi, as some of you might know, we have quite a lot of readers on Lemmy. Unfortunately, our posts from both here and @crossing haven't been mirrored there for a week and judging by the information I have, it looks to be due to some security features that this server is implementing to prevent unwanted content. Lemmy doesn't currently support those security features so until it is updated to do so, we are unable to mirror our posts to there. I'm not really interested in cross-posting for now, but if any of our community wants to cross-post on my behalf, feel free to. For anyone who uses Lemmy, you can stay up to date by following this account from a Mastodon/-key/Akkoma based instance or joining our Matrix space which automatically notifies people of new posts here. If you'd like to see the information that we have regarding this, please see https://lemmy.world/comment/10293027. We already made an announcement earlier today on Lemmy regarding the issues, please see https://lemmy.world/post/15864953. Thank you for your continued support (and thanks @esm and the team for being inkredible admins)! #スプラトゥーン3 #スプラトゥーン #Splatoon3 #Splatoon #Nintendo #NintendoSwitch
Posts aren't forwarding to lemmy.world communities
Hi, for at least 7 days, posts created on Mastodon on the wetdry.world server that mention the communities @[email protected] and @[email protected] have not been forwarding correctly. The server does not restrict access to lemmy.world at all, mastodon.world is marked as limited but that doesn’t apply to Lemmy. I’m posting from the @[email protected] and @[email protected] accounts and they always have the handle for the respective Lemmy community at the bottom of our posts. Thanks in advance for the support!
[Notice] Splatoon Unofficial and Crossing Corner posts aren't currently linking to Lemmy
I just came across this and I feel like it’s important to inform everyone. Our posts from the Splatoon Unofficial and Crossing Corner accounts don’t seem to currently be linking to Lemmy. I’m not sure why, but this seems to have been happening for about a week at this point. We are still posting, but I’m not particularly keen on making news posts on my personal Lemmy account at the moment considering I only check in to Lemmy from time to time. To continue staying informed of the latest events in the squid world whilst we investigate why our posts aren’t mirroring to Lemmy, you’ll need to follow us on Mastodon. https://wetdry.world/@splatoon [https://wetdry.world/@splatoon] If you’re not interested in using Mastodon, we also have a Matrix space and a Discord server. A full guide for joining us on Matrix is linked at https://splatsville.social/@splatoon/pages/matrixwelcome [https://splatsville.social/@splatoon/pages/matrixwelcome]. Thanks for all your support though! Hope we can get this fixed soon since it is certainly annoying for all parties involved.
It’s past 6pm BST now, sorry!
If you want, I can try and sneak in some last minute questions, but please send them on Matrix @experiencersinternational:matrix.org or Discord @experiencersinternational. We managed to get about 8 questions in, you’ll be able to read them on Lemmy once we post it.
[Q&A] Ask some questions to the last Splatoon 1 player left
Just wanted to let you all know that the last person on Nintendo Network servers (@Lcd101) has agreed to do an interview with Splatoon Unofficial! If you want to ask any questions about their experience on the Nintendo Network servers, please send them in by 6pm BST (1pm EDT, 2am JST).
[Discussion] Splatoon Unofficial content warning posts (e.g. Splatfest results) seemingly visible now on Lemmy?
For the longest time, posts with a content warning that we make, particularly those for Splatfests were not visible but now they seem to be? I’m just wondering when this started happening since I’ve only noticed this just now and it’s a bit of a concern for me. I’m not sure what clients are used for Lemmy but I’m concerned that the clients may show contents of the message despite showing an NSFW tag on Lemmy (obviously we’re not posting any porn). The whole purpose behind us using content warnings for stuff like this is to not spoil people.
