Moral of the story is that all seasons will forever be a less than ideal performer, unless you like being "that guy" who sounds like they're hooning every corner
I actually am reliving the Prius tire issue with my FR-S... last year I let the tire salesman convince me that the newest Yokohama all seasons were actually really good after getting a nail in my very well used Goodrich g-force tires.
The g-force summer tires made the car a hecking go-kart on rails and I loved every bit of it
The Yokohama tires I got now feel like the original Prius tires which are fun don't get me wrong, but I'm back to squealing the rears when turning from any stop
