Assuming optimal conditions that may be true, and it does seem that way in retrospect looking back, but as other have said there were a lot of other challenges that you don’t really think about. For myself, I’ve had a lot of struggles with neurodivergence because I was never diagnosed or anything, I just thought I was a weird kid tbh and I guess I wasn’t that different enough and I was good enough at blending in. My story is definitely not atyplical either, a lot of kids on the autism spectrum or with adhd didn’t get the proper treatment and struggled a lot and had a difficult life because of it. That’s just one thing. There were a lot less rights and laws for LGBTQIA+ people as well which is another whole can of worms in itself.
If you look at it purely by the numbers, then sure, I suppose it’s true.
