October is European Cybersecurity Month
The European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM) is the European Union’s annual campaign dedicated to promoting cybersecurity among EU citizens and organisations.
This year (2025), the focus is on phishing, the primary method for initial intrusion in cyberattacks. Phishing remains the most common way attackers gain access, accounting for around 60% of initial intrusions (ENISA Threat Landscape 2025).
