#redditblackout I keep seeing posts that the next steps for Reddit admins are to remove mods of closed subs, especially popular ones, and reopen the sub.

I'm not saying it won't happen, but it would be another mistake by big Reddit to control the site.

These communities were formed by unpaid mods providing free labor. Who exactly are they going to put in place of all of those subs that will 1) do it for free and 2) do it as effectively as the current mods?
