When you're in Long Beach y'all gotta stop by San & Wolves bakeshop. Their cinnamon buns are wonderful. Also, I learned what a sylvana was, and those are terrific as well!
Something I'm learning is that if you're a senior on your team, all your questions are read as leading questions. So "is this a good idea?" which I intended as a genuine request for feedback, is instead taken as "this is a good idea and we should do it". Need to exercise caution and figure out how not to ask questions this way!

For PyCon US 2026, I strongly advise you to 1) fly to Long Beach airport if you can, 2) stay in Long Beach, do not book a hotel in LA. I live in LA, and even I'm thinking of booking a hotel in Long Beach to avoid battling the 405 each day.
