First ever meeting of my full research lab this afternoon! We inherited a messy room (#typical #academia) but my 3(!) PhDs can't wait to move in and make it their own. 🥲🎉 From L->R, Kamrul Siam, me, Katy Limes (on Zoom), Shadi Nourriz, and postdoc Alemitu Bezabih.
It can be hard to hire a great postdoc, but Alemitu said yes! When I made 4 PhD admissions offers, I was expecting maybe 1 or 2 yes's back. But we lucked out & these 3 wonderful humans are now stuck w/me. What a proud moment!
