Happy to see MTA innovating on solutions to the funding gap, I often transfer from the 6/7 to subway at van ness - it works pretty well when I need to get all the way down market. Maybe itβll open up some capacity on market to do some street activations too
Not a bold visionary choice, and I have many gripes with her, but a reasonable choice for continuity's sake at a time of crisis for SFMTA. And it is good that Lurie didn't pick some westside-approved car brain crusader. We'll continue to fight Kirschbaum over her foolish preference for inefficient battery electric buses over trolleybuses
