I'm enjoying building things again.
In case it's not clear, LLMs know a ton about working in the shell, so this is valuable for much more than just aws commands.

What questions do you have that are not answered on the web site?

The GitHub:

Issues are welcomed, especially bugs, no matter how small.

I have a pretty clear vision for how simple I want to keep this, so some feature ideas may be declined, but I welcome the ideas.

Issues are more welcomed than PRs--an odd result of the new AI dev flow.

Yes, there are a lot of very similar projects on GitHub, but I couldn't find one that worked in the seamless way I wanted:

- place the generated commands on the shell prompt,
- let me edit before pressing <Enter>/<Return>,
- add the result into the shell history, etc.

Tired of asking a web LLM to generate aws-cli commands for you and copy+pasting the result into your shell?

I've written a shell command that does this for me, and I can't live without it now.

Ready for feedback and issues from early adopters.

Looks like I'll be posting my AWS #reInvent 2024 content over on:

If you're new to Bluesky, here are a couple "starter packs" you can follow to kick off with content from folks in and near AWS:

Issue #305 of Off-by-none is out! This week, CloudFormation deployments get an x-ray timeline view, users report Bedrock might be on shaky ground, and we celebrate the real heroes of AWS! #offbynone https://offbynone.io/issues/305/
OpenClaw, Now with More Cloud! 🦞☁️ - Off-by-none

In this issue, AWS helps your AI agents go rogue, Anthropic puts the AI code review market on notice, and GPT-5.4 arrives just in time for that Department of War contract.

Why not just put all the domains in a dedicated AWS account?

Also: "If your domain requires non-Cloudflare nameservers then we’re not the right registrar for you."
