A note of thanks to the past century of science fiction writers for making the events of the last ten years no less terrifying but very unsurprising, especially the last 24 hours.

So, for the uninitiated, there's a thing called Veeps that offers virtual tickets for live concerts (watch on a computer, mobile or, like, Roku, which I did), and tonight I saw Postal Service (again), play live out of Phoenix, and engaged in a fun live chatroom of normal cool people as if it were 1997. Highly recommend. Restored some faith in humanity. Also you get to rewatch it for up to about a week after.
Love the Marvel Unlimited app so much - read the paper releases each week still, but being able to go back in time and rake through the books year by year (currently reading across 1982), panel by panel, through the convenience of my smartphone (much better than pretty much anything else on the device), is so enjoyable.
