Sequel App v0.17.0 is out! The main feature of this release is the Reader Mode. If you would like to see the timeline of a bubble/spark/world as if you were reading a diary, in chronological order, without any distractions, the Reader Mode is a way to do it. In fact, this is the way it works in the Sequel's Gemini interface (gemini://sequel.space). Try it out by selecting Reader Mode in the bubble/spark/world's context menu.

This release also contains the following updates and bug fixes:

- Post not visible after publishing - Make IndexedDB stored data spark specific - Handling of duplicate images in the same post - Fix author visualisation on individual post page

Sparks that have a Creator role (ask DJ Jack if he would grant it in Tokens of Sequel bubble) will be able to access Digital Art Studio and Marketplace Releases. With the Studio, you can create and offer Digital Art for sale directly from the app!

This version also includes several bug fixes:

- Allow editing posts without mentions - Empty post body when editing posts in GMI & MD formats - Bubble membership not refreshed after joining - Upload of the same file twice doesn't work

We are delighted to present a new Sequel App release that includes two important features:

* The Search function is now operational. * Support of @mentions in posts. Type @, followed by a full or partial name of a spark, bubble or world you would like to mention. At Sequel, we don't like polluting posts with @ notation and links. Mentions are inserted as full names + clickable pillows underneath the post.

Hi folks, this is the first post in our new #worldsofsequel series. I would like to present you a world called Project Entropia.

Here's what I learned. Project Entropia is the old name of an MMORPG game in Red Dust called Entropia Universe. A long time ago in a universe far, far away, the War Titan Typhon hit planet Calypso, putting an end to Project Entropia as the colonists knew it. Entropia Universe has recovered and thriving, but the shards of the old world still remain in their memories, long after their infomorphic images have been deleted.

Sequel team's focus for the rest of the year is building a reacher interface with the Fediverse. Our ActivityPub transmitters have been working very well, and the signal quality is strong 💪 . We are going to bring two universes even closer together by letting Fediverse dwellers to appear in Sequel, the same way as Sequel sparks can be seen in the Fediverse. We created a home world called 'Fediverse'. Soon, it will be inhabited by the free people of the Fediverse 🤝 🥰
