I still like this fancy bibliophile bat I painted a while back. I started with a very saturated red ground which made it quite hard to paint but the results were pretty interesting I think.

Kid added 'waterproof scrunchie' to her birthday wish list. Knowing this didn't exist and was very likely a filler item she added just to have more things, I ignored it.
My mother, on the other hand, spent ages looking for one (unsuccessfully of course). I heard about her troubles so many times I finally just said I'd make her a damn waterproof scrunchie.

I thought I'd enjoy a little overlap in real life and fandom socials by adding a select few people, but I think now this is the only place where no one irl follows me and where I then can't inadvertently make anyone feel bad by talking about sensitive topics like relationships or big feelings.
