An ageing population is caught in a perfect storm of rising house prices and rents, falling home ownership rates, mortgage debt carried into retirement, insecure rentals and a lack of social housing.

This week Homes for People met with NSW MPs in Parliament House calling for: more social housing; end no grounds eviction; efficient, accessible homes; support for older people at risk of homelessness. I was delighted to Chair the meetup with Make Renting Fair NSW, Healthy Homes for Renters, Ageing on the Edge NSW Forum, and Building Better Homes.
