there are only two types of pics possible when I give science talks:
1. caught mid word
2. hands could be casting weird spells
but there are occasional combos, including this flash talk from #ASV2024 last week
after overcoming the Horrible Struggles of Forced Change (switching from a Honeywell to an HVO suit for BSL-4 work and fighting four years of habit to connect my air hose on the opposite side) I am forced to concede that there is a silver lining, which is that the straightforward glove change process on HVO suits is vastly, incomparably superior to wrangling long pieces of highly self-sticky e-tape on my old Honeywell suit every time. universally relatable experience I'm sure
