Wondering: are there other legal areas where the adjacent/adjoining definition thing could come into play? I'm thinking of other geographic stuff like maybe property disputes, but maybe there's other places it could apply #law #lawfedi
There's no statute for it so he couldn't be indicted but one of Stewart #rhodes lesser crimes is not taking advantage of the rare vision situation in which wearing a monocle would make sense
I am so desperate to get off Twitter, and I try to use it now only when I need to share my journalism with that audience … but man, there is still no other platform where you can post something wonky and get a reply from a mid-level state official in Michigan who just happens to be an expert in the exact topic you’re researching.
Interesting signature line on an email I received today:
"NOTE: My hours are not your hours. If this is received outside your work hours, stop right now, shut down your email, and go play with your dog." #Work
Their job isn’t to “make news”, it’s to cover news. This was a pseudoevent - a produced moment envisioned by an outlet, made for entertainment. No one learned anything new about the world from it.
