@Sagrilarus @harperrob I have had many pecan products and make a mean pecan pie, but I don't think I have ever had a Pecan Log
@gpage I should have specified today 🙂 I know they're not in season, but we definitely run into them at truck stops on our Xmas drive. I always forget where... except the Indian River Fruit stand at the FL-GA border always has them. I always remember that one, but I know it's a couple states later than I actually need to wait.
@harperrob that's a good way to think of it, yes! Usually with more spices. Only found in the Southeast US, presumably because that's where peanuts are grown. My go-to spot is on the border of Florida and Georgia.

@nopunincluded I am in exactly the same boat. I totally support the idea that some people want this small, very protected corner of the internet, but I think if I want any hope of communicating with the diversity of people I'm used to I may need to switch instances.

Did you play games for Thanksgiving? We did:
* A 13-person game of Eat Poop You Cat (aka Telephone Pictionary), a long time Thanksgiving tradition in my house
* pie break
* Exquisite Corpse (mostly the kids)
* Just One (2 boxes)
* The last word in Just One was "revolution," so then we had a Hamilton dance party/singalong to cap off the night.
