Yeah the #BombCyclone might be bringing us some -40°F wind chills and taking this #photo might have almost given my nose frostbite, but the sun dogs are sure looking wonderful here in #NorthDakota this evening

I rode on #Amtrak for the second time ever last week, taking the Pennsylvanian in to Pittsburgh to catch a cheap(er) flight home for the holidays

And I really enjoyed it! Is it fast? Absolutely not, but it's fairly cheap and much more comfortable than flying (and I love flying!)

Traveling by rail is something that's woefully lagging in the US, but hopefully more corridors outside the Northeast start to get faster service soon! Boy would I ever love a high-speed Twin Cities to Fargo train...
