Is anyone else nervous that an uptick in “auto ML” without good data/ML literacy education for the general public means that we’ll see an uptick in harmful models that people just blindly trust because the “auto” part of “auto ML” adds another layer of faux objectivity ON TOP OF the faux objectivity people ascribe to ML results anyway?

apropos of nothing, if you're into #rstats and care about reproducibility, you should definitely look into the {targets} and {renv} packages if you haven't

general consensus from everyone I show them to: "Wow, I wish I started using these two years ago."
