@[email protected] for proper examples of healed stuff go see this and for info on the glow powder itself, this

healing will probably take at least a few weeks for. proper healing. but will keep fedi updated.

gonna try changing the bandaging sometime late tomorrow before i go to bed or early monday for the first change (supposed to be 24-48h after cutting, gonna be running closer to 48 than 24) because jesus that's a lot of blood pooled under there it seems and i dont wanna peel powder out of the scar.

i may need to top up on that change which bleh. isnt gonna be fun if so because i wanted to save the rest for some other work but oh well...

also may need to go get some wound wash but. eehhhh normal water should be fine.

Ive realized we dont have a dedicated topic for glowing cuttings and tattoos. Yeah, theres one for UV tattoos, but not really one for glow powder things in the skin, right? So here it is 🙂 Ive got a cutting thats now 30 days old - here is a vid from today.

@[email protected] for context this is ABSOLUTELY NOT REMINISCENT OF THE HEALED DESIGN

the only reason it's glowing so much is you're supposed to add extra powder on top of what goes into the wound. this is both so that the bandage wont rip stuff out of the scar when you take it off and so that you ideally can get enough powder actually packed in.

the final result (if it takes properly) will be reminiscent of a very thin line where i cut.

i need a proper UV flashlight to charge this oh my god.

this is. with blood pooled up that has a fair bit of glow powder in it that's gonna wash away but oh my fucking god.
