He/him. A++ (aromantic + asexual).
From Brazil, but tooting in English.

I mostly play medium/heavy Euro-style boardgames and strategy videogames. I'm usually more into boardgames, but not really playing much this year... :(

I'm also a general nerd, mess with computers, watch cartoons, do SCIENCE, etc.

Ok, I have filtered it to only show this info for rivals (and your own country). It is now readable, assuming you want to read spreadsheets while you play games. But still, this is quite useful when trying to determine the real power of your enemies – how long can he fight, is he nearing bankruptcy, and so on.
But there is also the Income Comparison (page 30) which… oh god this is too much, look at all those numbers. Can I at least export it to Excel or something?
The Armies page of the ledger (page 21) is used almost constantly, to check up the power of your enemies.

You are not scared yet? Well, those were just the categories. They divide the 48 different ledgers the game has.

Yes, 48 ledgers. Most are pretty useless, so I’ll only cover some of the most important, but even so.

So, what have left for last? What is the most absurd part of this absurd user interface?

It’s the… ledger. Look, all I have showed up so far isn’t enough to show everything you need to know during a game. So the developers put everything that was left in a big ass ledger.

As a bonus, an example of how the tooltips can get crazy and… not very useful. Well, the size of this tooltip gives a clear idea of quantity…
One last stop before the Big Bad Thing: war! There is a big overview for each war you are a part of, showing both sides and the warscore for each action. And there is the peace negotiation window, where you “spend” the warscore to take stuff in the peace deal. At this pont I’m almost skimming through each thing.
Oh, and the game also has a message window for warnings and stuff. I keep it minimized because I never use it and it takes space away from the outliner. You can customize it, but it’s just too much; I know my limits. That’s the empty blue window below the outliner.
There are also the Great Powers list, from the small flag near the big country flag, and the Age information near the very top. They list stuff about big-ass countries that have special powers and about temporary, “age-based” goals and bonuses. Just to show that the game has plenty of other menus besides the main ones.
