@envie2chier if you are portuguese you can pratically understand spanish. But if you are spanish, most spanish people, at least the ones I know, will rarely understand a thing! That's what I know in my experience! Nonetheless, both languages are very similar. Some words are even tricky because they mean something in portuguese while meaning something else completely different in spanish!!!
