Romancelandia Sticker Club 2023 Artist Call
Calling artists to contribute to the Romancelandia Sticker Club for 2023, where members get a sticker in the mail every month celebrating Romance, HEAs, and positive messages related to inclusivity and joy.
See previous Club stickers here for an idea of the messages that we promote.
Content Guidelines
Genre inclusive. These stickers are for all Romance readers, so they should celebrate the entire genre, not just single tropes or concepts (like heat level)
No profanity. Many Club members share their stickers with their children, so there should be no profanity. (Sorry — we like a swearing sticker, tho. If you've got some ideas, reach out and maybe we could do a limited edition non-Club sticker for The Romancelandia Shop!)
Celebrate diversity. Not all Romance readers are cis, white, straight-sized, heterosexual people, and our stickers should reflect that.
Be you. While most previous stickers include words, this is not necessary for your design. The purpose of having guest artists is to expand the diversity of the designs, so if your design is an image only, that's great!
Submission Guidelines
Any media is open for consideration for this submission; watercolor, photography, fiber arts, cartoons, hand lettering, pen and ink drawings, digital art, graphic design, etc. As long as it is your own original content, the sky is the limit!
See this document for more details about the final deliverable requirements, as well as payment information (yes, this is a paying gig!), artist credit, usage permissions, etc.
Members of marginalized communities are particularly encouraged to apply
One goal of this project is to prioritize artists from underrepresented communities. Women, BIPOC, LBTQIA+, disabled people, those with chronic/invisible illness, who are neurodiverse, who are not straight-sized, or anyone else who is a member of any marginalized community are particularly encouraged to apply.
Please submit this form by midnight CT on Monday, Nov 28, 2022.
Design selections will be made by Friday, Dec 2.
