im talking about in generality kaya i said taking "substance" as compare to meditation, the substance hack your receptor then your body produces hormones, in a way its like mind or bofy over matter din, kasi katawan mo pa rin mag produce ng hormones, but as i said di lahat, may mindset na ganun, so you need to take substance kaya ininclude ko na yung iban hormones and the "likes" when talking about substance that is taken.
okay if your talking about phys. pain your right, but when its about mental pain you need some happy hormones.

well in pain meditation/placebo is kinda borderline pseudo science, it's a mind over matter thing eh, it may effect or not, but if we take the route of protein interaction, madaling makita yung direct science sa effect nung substance sa dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, oxytocin and the likes.
sa recreational, it's tricky since it's prone to abuse, we don't know how to properly regulate it, so we are not ready for that, but when and if that time comes na okay na, I want to try it for once, para naman makaescape sa reality.
