I like Linux, BSD, Solaris, really any Unix system out there, and sustainable DRM-free video games

I also like music (mostly Black Metal and Dungeon Synth but I love many genres) and playing guitar, collecting records, and preserving media.

Also huge fan of hiking and nature.

Actions speak louder than words.

I am unable to install EU Login app in my phone because I use LineageOS and not the Google Spy Android.

Thus, I cannot use the double factor authentication, mandatory from the 25-02-2026 on unless I tell Google.

A frontal attack to our #privacy.

Stupid, no?

Nothing about the anti-abortion, anti-vaccine, anti-autism, anti-trans movement is based in science. And they're all the same movement.

Been relaxing to some music on the new FreeBSD 14.2 release on my secondary desktop

I love finding an old computer and making it run like new again. This is why i love #Linux and #FreeBSD

So i've gotten to the point where i'm starting to be just as comfortable with #freebsd as i am with #linux

And while i'll probably always be a Linux user for my main OS, i actually find FreeBSD to also be great and im glad i have an alternative in case Linux one day takes a dive and vice versa

Been running FreeBSD lately to challenge myself. Overall I am a linux guy but i've decided on my second laptop I'm going to daily drive FreeBSD again so I can learn things. This time on a laptop. So far its been really fun and cool.

Working IT tech support genuinely changes you as a person, there's plenty of clients i have that are cooperative and respectful, but there are droves of ignorant idiots who called ME for help and then try to act like they know everything.

lol i remember when WEI and all that was going on, and people were telling me i was being excessive scrubbing all chromium out of all my systems, (keep in mind, I stopped using chrome over 5 years ago, only using brave and ungoogled chromium occasionally)

now, people are seeing whats going on with youtube, and suddenly jumping ship to firefox, i guess im not so crazy anymore. the people who will stick to chrome, i will never understand.

@sicko in fact the reason that its sandboxed like that is precisely because i do not trust them, so i've insulated myself from them as much as possible
@sicko beleive me, im an outspoken opponent of DRM platforms.... and i have my "ways" of getting what i want from spotify
