in a worksituation poll about what editors people use, it was claimed that I use Stickies for coding
which is of course ridiculous
so I told them nah, I was sticking with MacPaint
@maya ah I was going to wonder if "overprivileged" makes sense for, like, concepts or priorities (where something could be appropriately privileged: one might privilege escaping a burning building over adjusting one's cravat) but in that context the only beneficial role it could be playing is emphasis?

Can confirm, personalized search is mostly bullshit afaict.
Geographical names are an exception-- for [steamed yams bay area], you probably mean the SF Bay Area; if you lived in Tampa it would mean something else; in either case you might not be aware you're being ambiguous. But you don't need fine grained interest targeting for that.
It's _possible_ talking to some AI chatbot where you know it remembers things about you would be helpful but that's not demonstrated yet...
@inthehands I like how you blanked out the URL, just to make sure someone didn't read your share and go "oh! I've been looking for a way to dump my extra cash into a scam that ticks ALL the scamboxes!"
