The local children’s hospital goes all out on Christmas lights in their little park on their campus. I love it.

Chewy (the pet company) sent me flowers for my dog Oliver’s passing this week, and now I’m crying. I knew they were a good company and did this sometimes but wow.

Very sad to say goodbye to Oliver today after 15 years. I got Oliver as a little puppy right after I dropped out of grad school after my first year. I got him off craigslist from a house out in the middle of nowhere in Louisiana, and he was with me through multiple moves (including going back and getting the PhD, where he got a special thanks in my dissertation) from Rhode Island to Texas.
