I am legitimately exhausted yall. My heart has shattered so many times in the last span of years and while I pick up the pieces I don't know how to paste them back together again. I don't know how to keep going in any kind of hope. I feel sure that camps or prison or summary execution await me, for nothing more than existing. I feel Im living in the last year or few of my life. I still get up. I still crawl on. I still help others where I am able. But inside I am weeping. And if those fears end up not coming to pass, it can't be said they're not based in real justified concern. If the state doesnt kill me, the stress will. Which is another way the state kills us.

timberwraith1) As someone who has been around for a bit, I'll point out that no matter *how* you try to reframe trans people's experiences, no matter what language you use, no matter what labels and designations you adopt, their impact NEVER really lasts.
Cis people, or significant subsets of them, always shift the goal posts of legitimacy in their eyes as to what makes a person "real." You can't make yourself more legible to someone who has no desire to open their eyes and see you in the first place.

I keep getting my mind boggled by the media running nonsensical anti trans pieces featuring irrelevant or outdated info, but if we assume cis supremacy is a structural privilege that presumes cis superiority, outdated pathologizing models of trans existence will be the instinctive and invisible default which will be seen to reflect "common sense" within a cis supremacist framework.
Some ppl in the media are overtly transphobic. But we don't have to assume intentional, personal intent to harm when these things happen, in the same way that structural racism and sexism often operate within implicit structural frames
