What he is doing is so awful —so ludicrous—it is as if a cartoon villain in a show for five year olds broke free from the television and took over the free world. It’s insanity. It is incomprehensible. How on earth is this our new reality?

evacideI have said this before, but it's worth repeating: in times of crisis it is easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of outrages that call for your attention. Pick your issue. Pick the corner of the world that you are going to defend and fight for that. If you try to fight everything all the time, you will burn out real fast.
The terrible darkness looming ahead is devastating.
