Breaking the curse with Psalm 109 for spiritual warfare in the Bible.

Every prayer here is a spiritual weapon.Every verse we declare is a sword of divine justice. And today we're entering a battlefield with one of the most explosive psalms of spiritual warfare in the entire Bible. Psalm 109. This is not a passive prayer. But a spiritual weapon against curse. This is not for the faint of heart. Psalm 109…

EMEKA AMADIOHA’S SUITCASES AND OBI’S MINIMALISM

Valentine Obienyem I initially began writing this as a reply to a post by Mr. Emeka Amadioha Opara. What prompted me was a comment by Mrs. Ngozi Agbapu, who wondered why Emeka seems to develop an “erection” (word mine) whenever Peter Obi’s name is mentioned. Knowing Mrs. Agbapu as a refined and thoughtful person, I sensed that she was genuinely troubled by some of Emeka’s recurring commentaries on Obi.

Your power of authority as a child of God

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 Taking the word of God as it is real in your life will activate the power in the word of God. Cast out the doubt and keep the Word. Receive the Word…

Paul’s “thorn in the flesh”

Tradition that has been well-taught is referred to as Paul’s “thorn in the flesh” from 2 Corinthians 12. (Really it was not Paul’s thorn, it was Satan’s thorn.) Everyone has heard about it. Tradition teaches that the thorn in the flesh was sickness or disease, but the Word plainly says that the thorn was a “messenger of Satan.” This Greek word is translated as messenger seven times in the New Testament.

The Healing of God’s people

Mathew 8:1-3 When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him.2 And behold, there came a leper and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean.”3 And Jesus put forth His hand and touched him, saying, “I will: be thou clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. The Leper was very humble that Jesus will heal him.

As the World Cup Begins Without Nigeria

As the World Cup Begins Without Nigeria As the World Cup begins today across three nations, I identify with our teeming football followers and urge them not to be despondent that Nigeria is not participating, despite the abundant talent in our land. Our failure to participate on the global stage is not due to a deficit of talent; it is a direct consequence of a deficit in leadership, planning, and institutional support.

What June 12 Should Mean to Us Nigerians

Today, we observe a day that should mean a great deal to us as a people who cherish democratic principles. Every year on June 12, the conversation inevitably turns to a critical assessment of the state of our nation. It serves as an annual benchmark for asking important questions: Are our elections today as transparent as they were in 1993?

The recruitment of about 1,000 forest guards in Oyo State, is a demonstration of “poor leadership”

The 2027 presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s approval for the recruitment of about 1,000 forest guards in Oyo State, describing it as a demonstration of “poor leadership” and a reactive approach to governance and security. Obi stated this in a statement posted on his X handle on Friday, titled What…
