Geek, husband, lover, software developer, londoner. Not necessarily in that order.
@garrett A++++++, good restaurant, would meme again
Need to finish off the slides for my continuous integration and delivery talk — or "keeping GNOME buildable" — in time for GUADEC…
@Meshelly long ago the four melons lived in harmony. Then, everything changed when the firemelons nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four melons, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airmelon bender named Aang. And although his melon bending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Aang can save the world.

The @gnome Continuous builder now uses Meson to build GTK's master branch (which will become GTK+ 4.0 in 2018).

Build time already improved nearly 3x; from 87 seconds with Autotools, to 34 seconds with Meson.

We're busy putting the finishing touches to this year's GUADEC schedule. It's looking fantastic! https://2017.guadec.org/schedule/
The ReZEL Type-C (b Unit), from Gundam Unicorn. This was a complex build (took me 3 days) but also a fun and rewarding one. Definitely a steep curve up from my previous builds. Will keep tweaking the colours and the stickers.

Finished the Gundam Barbatos "Lupus Rex", from Iron Blooded Orphans. The newer series of the Gundam canon are hit and miss, but their models are definitely more interesting to build.

@garrett which implies that Metallica are just a harder Nickelback - which I think is definitely more accurate. 😏
@federicomena No, you can use the normal Markdown thing of inlining an image — ![Alt Text](url). The liquid_tags plugin lets me do things like using <figure> and controlling the image attributes and add a caption that I can style using CSS classes: https://github.com/ebassi/halting_problem/blob/master/plugins/liquid_tags/figure.py
