@kissane @darius just read through this, tbh I agree with a lot of it. Signup process wasn't great just getting onto here, anything I had to "apply for acct" that was actually a subject of interest relies on probably barely active volunteer admins to approve. This is just to get onto the network period, I ended up spamming another auto approve server just to do it. If I didn't need to contact someone specifically here and came here as a filthy casual, I would have bailed at last two tries ago

@darius also I vaguely recall contacting you again at the time you either announced the book or after I read it via the Boss Fight Humble Bundle (was the highlight for sure, the first main reason I picked it up) and yeah it was great. PS I just rebought JA2 again so I could try out the JA2 Vengeance mod which integrates both WF and JA1 mercs, new portraits + new towns and story. Practically a sequel in its own right. Bit overwhelmed by it now in a good way. Looking forward to ur JA3 thoughts

@darius hey man, I had a gamedev blog you knew of back around '06 called "Shoelace Shader guy" and you remembered that when we met up at GDC later.
