It's weird to me that Apple is sunsetting Macs made as recently as 2017. If you are buying a new Mac to stay on the latest and greatest software, please don't landfill your current Mac. Donate it to a FreeGeek or similar organization. An "unsupported Mac" can continue as a valued computer running Linux for many more years beyond "the sunset".

@nev You are right, extremely cute. :) Why are the chelicerae so glowing green? They're like a comic book artist drawing something radioactive.

@nev Yes! I know this one! I've even managed to (lamely) photograph one near our place, an individual who was all black and white. I love the happy face markings. :)

@sammydee @croyle I have Hass running on a used Lenovo M73, seems fine. You just have wrestle the install image onto an SDD or HDD. Strange "no installer" policy but we can make it work.
@adr Are you a flat workplace / callaboration / consensus person, or is there some other org model you'd like to see replacing traditional hierarchy? Agree 100% wrt to unions, my experience is that the upside is that almost everyone does a better job (long term) and the downside is quite small (but varied and charmingly anecdotal.)
