Space, laments about clouds blocking the view of space, and the occasional view from the garden.
Little dude, presumably a North African hedgehog, had managed to fall into the channel somewhere and was washed downstream until he was floating in this diversion, swimming his little pink butt off.

ahahahahahahaha hehehehehehe

this is the greatest library card design ever, thanks saint paul public library.

Combined East and South views of 2023 through pinhole solargraphs.

2023 in pinhole solargraphs. Twelve months, two angles of watching the sun cycle through a #SolarCan Puck. Each frame is ~10 days of exposure.

First view looking East-ish, second view to the south. The path of the sun was a bit too high in the summer and distorted by the double-glazing of the window it was stuck to. #SolarCan #solargraph. Processed in Lightroom and LRTimelapse.

A mildly aggressive hedgehog does not take kindly to strangers on his lawn (aka, boop to the butt). #hedgehog #muntjac #boop

Today's #solstice in three #solargraph exposures. First is a today-only exposure that got blown over in the wind around noon, second started at the equinox in a south window and third runs from Solstice to Solstice from the top of a church tower. Somehow it got rotated slightly in March and the late spring months are all off a bit.

Sadly it appears that the Cam1 pair won't be nesting this year because of territory disputes, but the Cam2 pair is on two eggs, expecting a first hatch around 8 July.

A side project of mine, generating
yesterday's time lapses for the two New Hampshire Loon Preservation Committee LoonCams. Running until the chicks hatch and depart for the brooding grounds mid-July.
