The oldest functional computing device in my possession. This was my Grandfather's, a man born many decades before his time. My early memory of him was the dozen chess boards he had set up, playing correspondence via postcard. He lived long enough to have an Apple II and then the first generation of Macintosh, but passed before the internet. I miss him.
