@TechnicalKO thought it looked a little corroded. I think each led unit does all the colours. They all start out on red as expected then just start flashing red instead of transitioning to other colours. It’s almost like something is getting overwhelmed and resetting the whole circuit.
Batteries are all good. It’s supposed to fade from colour to colour. I’m guessing a component or connection is busted somewhere. Might be a lost cause. All the power connections look fine.
Undertaking operation fix night light. No idea where to start tho.
@urbanfuzzy @TechnicalKO why isn’t there any here tho? I tried to learn how to make that last year and the combination of exotic spices is intense.
@david have been following your smithing toots with interest. Looks like lots of fun.
@urbanfuzzy yeah, it’s a beaut. There have been a few nice finds. Trying to make a bit of a photography project out of it (but I’m already several years in).
Anyway, one thing I have settled on is that I’m going to avoid making complaints here, both specific ones and generalised complaints about the state of things. There’s enough of that.
So today I’m headed back to my Grandpa’s workshop for the first time in a looong time. Really looking forward to it.
I’m still struggling a little with what to make this place. I’m really resisting the urge to essentially replicate my Twitter network (at least in tone/topic if not actual people). I want the fediverse experience to be different. But how? And because of my hesitation the experience is current anaemic and therefore mostly uninteresting.
