If you created music in a laboratory whose sole purpose was to get me to slowly walk into the ocean this is what you'd end up with.
They Might Be Giants posted this to Facebook and got me giggling this morning.
This is my favorite Christmas tune and it's not close.

30 years ago today I was on the rail for the first time ever at a #phish show.

The first ever glowstick war that occurred during the Harpua was one of the only times I've seen the band legitimately shocked.

Green glowsticks started pouring from the balcony above Page + the band had no idea...

Love it when I remember to grab some sunlight this time of year. Can be easy to not get outside and then all of a sudden it's dark.
He might not be the hero we asked for, but just maybe he's the hero we need.

30 years ago today me and a car full of people drove 4 hours north to see #phish in Madison, WI.

Jam chart versions of Stash, If I Could, David Bowie and Reba. The Bowie is a monster.

Also the only time I've ever seen a double encore. Played Icculus, left the stage but the crowd just kept...

First set of JRAD was phenomenal as always.

Lots of highlights but the slow Sugaree to close it was really special. Metzger's solo in that was the highlight of the night and the whole band did a metric modulation during Tom's solo that was reminiscent of the metric modulation in the 2021 Deer Creek Simple.

I got goosebumps when they brought it back around to slow Sugaree. Lots of them.

This band has the highest floor of any improv-based band I've seen regularly that's not named MMW.

I have no particular hate for Oasis even if they aren't for me but this hate is high enough quality that I am obligated to share it.
