@mstine So, he’s old school?
@mstine I’m trying to figure out why. What does that prove?
Chronophoto, guess the year photos were taken: my best score is 4,009 https://www.chronophoto.app/game.html
Chronophoto - Game

Play the online game that tests your knowledge of pop culture and history. Simple and fun. Try to guess the year a picture was taken.

I've had the idea for a weird kind of Twitter client for years. With Mastodon being all open, I've decided to do the experiment:

What if your Timeline looked like iMessage. A normal timeline confuses me to no end because everything is out of context.

My experiment, Ebou, is a Mastodon client that looks like iMessage. Conversations are grouped by friends and sorted by recent postings.

It is super basic right now, but this already feels much more natural to me 😀

@ctaymor I just sent one to your personal email. Let me know if you got it.
@glennf Tracking in general (USPS, FedEx, UPS) seems much worse than it was a few years ago. I have often wondered why that is—I remember it being reliable before. Also, whenever I go into our small local Post Office, the customer at the counter is almost always asking about a package that is not showing up on tracking, or is not where the tracking says it should be.
@lauraklein It sounds, um… confusing.
I am so tired of hearing "we have to ship it and learn!" without the people saying it having any sort of idea of what they're trying to learn or how they'll know when they've learned it. Generally, they just want permission to ship something crappy and then brag about all the new features.
this was the best thing I ever tweeted
