Laptop to play VR game
Hello, I search a good gaming laptop and a VR heaset to play some game like Beat Saber, but the VR headset need to be easily movable, and the laptop not to heavy. I’m going to use it to play with friends on some event, or when I moving for my jobs. Thanks 🫡

Hello, I’d like a mini pc that I can just connect to the HDMI port, where I could watch 4K movies without the need to plug anything else on it except keyboard, mouse, or remote control. Alternative to Discord ?
Hi everyone, I just had my account deactivated from Discord for ToS violation (I didn’t do anything wrong, I just tried to send a friend request), but that’s not the most important thing. Now that I no longer have an account, and I’ve been wanting to leave Discord for a while for a better, self-hosted, open-source alternative, this is the best time. I know of Matrix, XMPP servers and applications that work very well, but none of them work in the same way, or have the same feel as Discord. I see more alternatives for professional use than for gamers or communities. Revolt exists, but last time I checked, you can’t really host it yourself, and I haven’t read good things about it. (I don’t remember the website listing all the negative aspects.) That brings me to my two questions. 1. Can you list some alternative to Discord that I probably don’t know ? 2. If you want a alternative to Discord, what are your requirements to using it ? I’m not saying I can or will, but I think I can try to create one. > PS: I already trying to get my account back (but I have the same response from the support and I can’t send request to “Appeals & Age Update Requests” because of ToS violation) and even if I manage to get it back I really want to leave discord right now.

Help for self host gaming server and some app
Hello everyone :D I’m looking to host some gaming servers to play with my friends (minecraft, enshrouded, and others), and some apps (paperless-ng, jellyfin, seafile, etc.). Each game server must be accessible from the Internet, but only certain applications will be accessible (jellyfin, etc.) I don’t want to open any ports on my router or share my public IP. I already have a domain name, and I’m thinking of using some VPS to host a reverse proxy with tailscale or netbird. For the VPS, I’m thinking of using OVH [https://www.ovhcloud.com/en/vps/] with unlimited bandwidth. I already have the domain name here, and I live in France where the servers are. A few questions : * Is this a good idea ? Any better solution is welcome. * I don’t really know how I’m going to redirect subdomains to use the correct reverse proxy. Local DNS on the VPS ? * Tailscale or Netbird ? (I actually don’t have any idea) * Won’t using Tailscale or Netbird like this cause performance losses on game servers ? Reverse proxy : * nginx for application * infrared [https://infrared.dev/] or gate [https://gate.minekube.com/] for minecraft server * Others for different game servers if needed.
