@Sheril capitalism is always the answer for this kind of stuff.
So a week ago they had to choose either not to be hardcore and get a 3 month severance, or support their new boss' vision and workplace just to get fired a week later after a single code review and get only 4 weeks of severance.
This is beyond douchery, it's plain and unnecessary cruel.
