I canceled my monthly sustaining donation to NPR this week.
I can’t look at myself in the mirror anymore & be comfortable with a donation to support journalism that refers to rapists, torturers, kidnappers, & murderers as “militants.” Or takes terrorist-run "Ministry of Health" reports as truth.
The dollars remaining in my annual pledge are all going to our community's www.emergencyfundforIsrael.com to help pay for trauma relief, victims of terror, evacuations, & respite care.

I’m leaving home (Israel) to go home (New Jersey).
This time I came with rabbis and cantors from across Greater MetroWest.
I held hands with Maayan Sherman, mother of Ron, kidnapped on October 7th.
And hugged displaced residents from the south.
And the north.
And Oshri, a beautiful young soldier who fought for six and a half hours, shot and wounded, but saved 46 soldiers, 3 women civilians and a baby.
And so many more.
I cried this trip. I’m so grateful to be here, to bear witness.
