My new PM wants time tracked per task for her burn down charts, but we don't have any internal tools to help track that. So I'm building a Go app using Wails to help me organize my task times and export them in an organized manner for her analysis.
Whoever was on TWiT this week with the sniffles has earned my ire. You dealing with your stuffy sinuses was gross to listen to.
The feeling of getting code to work correctly doesn't get old.

@glennf I've been here 10 years now and bus service has been one of my major complaints.

There is a combination of COTA routes to get you from the airport to OSU. You'd have to take the 7 and then transfer to the 22. That would drop you just south of the Ohio Union on 12th Ave on Campus.

I'm sure there is a logistical reason why there isn't a straight route connecting the two since they aren't particularly close. But given the student demo, it would be rational.

Using the afternoon to setup Nginx Proxy Manger after finally migrating my domains away from Google.

@ant_pruitt Those stats are nuts! Well done!

Honest question from a guy who grew up playing baseball and not football (and I'm sure you've been asked this a million times before): Do you ever get scared about your son playing football in light of televised injuries like Nick Chubb's knee or Tua's concussions? My 7yo son played flag football last fall, but I find it really hard to encourage him to continue.

As a big Browns fan, Chubb's injury has really shaken me.

@kurtseifried @carnage4life I'm not sure when the latest series of funding ended, but their push on AI is exactly the sort of thing that excites VCs, and makes me delete my account.

Moved to Obsidian with no regrets.

I'm usually hesitant to share too much about my son, Ripley, or his situation but our situation (US, WV/OH) changed last week. Ripley is about 18 months old and we've known since he was born that he would need a #KidneyTransplant once he was big enough. Until last week, our plan was for him to get one of mine. Unfortunately, I was disqualified, so we're on the hunt for a kidney! If you or someone you know would have any interest in being screened, you can visit https://ripley.love (1/2)

Tired of waiting for new project to start at work, so I'm revisiting personal projects. I'm hoping to cross at least one project off my list this week.

@glennf Thanks for that link. Very interesting indeed!

Sounds and looks like it would be tedious work, but also incredibly fulfilling to know that your prints are exactly the way you want them. I'm sure it's going to be a beautiful volume.
