I'm not sure if it's an ADHD thing, a spectrum-y thing, or a depression thing, but I watched a movie yesterday (in a cinema) and today I have very little recollection of the experience.
Should I be concerned?
For those of you who don't know, I made a tv show about videogames for 6+ years back in a previous life. It was called Player Attack, it was on *actual tv* as well as online, it was great fun to make, but never quite as popular as we wanted it to be.
Anyway. This morning, we got a copyright claim on an episode from 2014, because that pesky Jimmy The Geek dared to include The Wizard in his roundup of "Top 5 videogame movies that simply Do Not Suck".
...listening to an audiobook. Enthralled. At that point where I'm wearing headphones around family members to sneak in a chapter or two while making dinner.
Seemed to have gotten to a climactic point. Check audiobook app. Am only 45% of the way through. Where can it possibly go from here?!
(Also, the author now follows me back on Instagram, so I am a bit cautious about sharing opinions until after I'm finished... which will be some time near Christmas, I think.)
Today's Instagram ads:
Stockings
Hair care
Zodiac / tarot-themed jewellery
Fancy toothbrush
Nightlight / children's relaxation device
Cable management solution
Sometimes I wonder what the algorithm thinks of me.
Help me, fashionable people. When wearing hats, does one tuck one's ears in, or leave them sticking out like wingnuts?
...or does one find hats which fit better and don't cause the dilemma in the first place?
"My Favourite Things" (a (much) earlier version of this playlist) is nearly 2,500 songs.
Obviously, the concept of "favourite" is all relative - these are definitely 2,500 songs I like more than a lot of others, but there are some in this list I like even more than those.
The only problem with listening to "My Liked Songs" as a playlist (or thumbs-up, or whatever your music service calls it) is that every now and then it plays a song and I am like "Whoa! I love this song!" ...and I have no way of Liking it or Thumbs-Upping it any more than I already have.
So.
Need You Around by the Smoking Popes, this is your time to shine.
