Time to get better at Mastadon!

Super excited to see this latest piece go live and I owe a huge debt to my best friend (and her son) who sparked this conversation and got me thinking more broadly about juvenile rights in the 21st century!

I have this hypothetical project I would love to do on free speech, youth rights, and SCOTUS.

I even have a title for it, “Cheerleaders, Bongs, and Vietnam: A Legal History”

I am in need of a vacation to a cell phone dead zone, no emails, no pings.

Just staring off into space and not having to worry if I pressed reply or reply all or did forget that attachment or did I cc the right people?

Elon directly ordered the takedown of the account of @chadloder, one of the most prominent and effective antifascist researchers in the US.

(Not mentioned in the article: Elon did so at the request of Andy Ngo, a notorious far right stochastic terrorist.)

Some days even I’m impressed by my ability to self teach new skills as they become necessary to do my work.

Note to self, add web design and programming to my cv!

Note to self: eye drops go in before mascara or you will be walking around the office looking like you dressed up as Alice Cooper for casual fridays….

Finally watching Chinatown (1974) for the first time and remembering that juvenile court judge and self publicity magnet Ben Lindsey was living in LA after retiring during this time period the film takes place in.

And honestly, I think Jack Nicholson might have been the only actor I would have wanted to play Ben Lindsey in a film because the man needs that sort of manic showman slightly scary energy that Nicholson has.

It’s been a writing cloister weekend…. 💅🏼
It’s not breaking and entering if you are from the future! #lifehack
