Iedereen wil weg
Ah, Maar niemand gaat
Iеdereen is moe
In het paradijs
And thе beat goes on, and on, and on
En de machine draait maar door

I’ve finally watched Firefly, and I never would’ve thought how much I could like a show that was canceled before even finishing the first season. Gonna watch Serenity tonight, to get that final bit of Firefly-goodness.
I watched a few episodes of The Expanse before dropping it, and I’m going to give it another try after liking Firefly so much.
For now I'm just browsing on the Firefox browser for Android.
Honestly, what's the reason you started using apps on Reddit? Because the browser experience SUCKED on mobile, to incentivise you to download the reddit app (which happens to have integrated ads which bypass your browser's add locker).
Lemmy on mobile browsers is pretty good actually, so for now I'm not gonna bother with an app.
Yes! I noticed that too.
I think the warning when making a post is a leftover from the same dropdown language selection you get on your profile. If you deselect 'undefined' as a language on your profile, you probably miss out on like 90% of all posts.
The warning doesn't really apply to your post, if anything you're probably better off leaving the post 'undefined'...
I found the cause and fortunately it was my own fault! This probably doesn't interest you much but I wanted to type it out so others could find my post and figure out their problems.
Because of what you said I tried to visit feddit.nl from other instances where I don't have an account, like beehaw.org/c/[email protected] and lemmy.ml/c/[email protected]. I found that all posts were showing up fine there. Finally, I logged out on lemmy.world and suddenly the posts showed up. Logged back in and half the posts disappeared again.
Turns out all the posts that weren't showing up were (correctly) set to 'Nederlands', and I was only seeing post set to English or not set to any languages. I'm bilingual and when I made my profile I only enabled English. There's no warning that some posts are hidden, I'll put that as feedback when I get around to it.
Some communities seem to get fetched only partly.
Example: I am subscribed to lemmy.world/c/[email protected] - and because there's at least one subscriber the content is getting fetched, right? Except if I look at the community from lemmy.world I see only 4 posts, while on its home instance (feddit.nl/c/nieuws) there are 10 posts.
This happens with multiple communities on feddit.nl, and some communities like /c/[email protected] just return "404 community not found". I'm not subscribed to that one, but even if there were no subscribers it would still show some posts, right?
Am I doing something wrong? Is feddit.nl difficult to fetch from maybe? Or is lemmy.world overwhelmed?
