I was standing in the corner, I had some marijuana, I wanted to get higher, So I went into the corner with my rizla and my ganja, and I build another spliff until I’m totally out my head.
That’s because guns do nothing against tyranny except increase the justification (see my other comment a few days ago abt defending myself against armed corrupt police while unarmed myself)
Exactly I’ve never needed a gun I think its purely marketing and social expectations causing Americans to default to “muh guns” when someone’s mentioned self defense. Like if ur up against guns js wear body armour at all times rather than trying to be john wick.
I’ve been stabbed too. Ive never felt the need to carry a gun. I face a lot of risk anytime I leave my house esp rn acc due to political unrest essentially I still don’t feel the need for guns yet the government do feel the need for arming trained police (known for corruption and violence where I’m from) who I think are a lot more likely to kill me than someone w a knife. As I mentioned tho I still don’t feel the need to arm myself against those people infact doing so would worsen the situation as I’d be more of a threat and could be further used for the narrative justifying the arming of police in the first place
The only reason that is is because of racism nej. By only seeing the world as the places that are filled w white people while I don’t think u mean to at all and its not your fault its the rich peoples fault but the language creates a world view where black and Asian and brown people aren’t people only white people are.
But they still can’t choose whether they needed to go there, they js chose to not go. I’m assuming ur trolling, in which case, I feel bad for you. Although on the off chance ur not, it’s not my responsiblity to educate u and I won’t engage in this discussion further.
U can choose whether u do actually go there but u CANNOT choose whether uNEEDA TO
But u can’t choose whether u need to go there in the first place so that doesn’t matter at all
This is a comment section abt how the Irish language talks abt emotions you said “language shapes how we think so its possible” I understand this to mean the English language shapes how I am feeling am I wrong? If it is a negligible effect why mention it? Language isn’t the cause of pretty any of my emotions so what’s the point in the speculation of an negligible effect?
But if it shapes how I think subconsciously it would’ve had an effect.
Refer to my other comments on this post abt my depression and anxiety. Tldr language isn’t the cause
