I AM SO EXCITED

I'm in the final stretch of a multi-year project launching December 1st. Although there are easily 60 people on it, I am very personally invested and besides being Launch Unblocker In Chief, I have been writing code too. Mostly when I realize we missed something, I just go fix it rather than creating a backlog item.

The last task I picked up, has been killing me this week. Mostly cuz of my own hubris I took a 6 week task getting descoped & said "We need it. I can do it in 1".

I guess its time to try out this #mastodon thing. hello folks #IsThisThingOn
Hey, Adrian Hornsby (@adhorn) is here. Definite recommended follow.

With the recent launch of EventBridge Scheduler, I wrote a post on how to use it to schedule a recurring experiment with AWS Fault Injection Simulator. Continuous resilience testing at your finger tips. Hopefully you find it useful

Schedule a recurring experiment with AWS Fault Injection Simulator

In this blog, I explain how to use Amazon EventBridge Scheduler to trigger an AWS Fault Injection Simulator (FIS) experiment every 10 minutes.

@jamesurquhart 👋 👋

This is a welcome release! #AWS #StepFunctions now supports cross-account actions.

It uses role assumption in the target account, so it works for any resource, not just those which support resource policies.

You know #AWS re:Invent is getting real when you're writing scripts to convert the AWS What's New feed to Excel 😅

#awsreinvent #reinvent2022

Excel is known to turn any field into a date field.. But when it's valid ISO8601, it doesn't.

*facepalm*

The emperor has no employees.
