Last summer six members of San Francisco's @dolphinclub, all over 70, became the oldest American relay team to swim the English Channel. How could I *not* tell their story? https://open.substack.com/pub/fritinancy/p/i-made-a-movie

Last night we hosted the world premiere of our 100% volunteer-produced, shot-on-phones documentary, “21 Miles, 12 Feet, and 439 Years.” It celebrates last year's record-breaking English Channel swim by a Dolphin Club team whose members were all over 70. Now you can watch it, too:

Meet Mimi Osborne, the Dolphin Club's Oldest Active Swimmer by 2000 Stories from the Dolphin Club

At 89 1/2, Mimi Osborne makes aging look easy. But she warns us that it's anything but. A Dolphin Club member since 1979, she still swims twice a week, even after a full ankle replacement. Mimi has what you might call history with the club, going as far back as 1961 when her husband Daniel Osborne joined. She shares some of her fondest memories, honest advice, and wisdom about aging, swimming, widowhood, and her plans to see the next solar eclipse.
