@meganL in this case it was Google's ShakeAlert. We sometimes get prediction notices too which go out about 5-10 seconds before the earthquake.

Half an hour early for Stop That Train showing at the Castro theater and this place is absolutely packed already. Sold out show, but we managed to find a few seats by each other (yay) in the front row (boo)

My newest jeans use indigo-dyed warp yarns on the outside and rainbow weft yarns on the inside. A subtle detail that's mostly hidden now, but should become more visible as the denim ages.

I've been loving the onigiri options at Konbini SF (on 24th and Harrison). Today I tried their purple sticky rice fantuan (飯糰）and I'm hooked.
