I will never not laugh out loud at the fact that Elon Musk spent $44bn actual dollars for Twitter just so he could silence the trolls that constantly (and for good reason) attack him.

I know it bothers him that Twitter is crashing and that he will always be known as Space Karen Extreme.

That matters. We're rapidly approaching a situation where the media will refer to things happening "on Mastodon" the way they referred to Twitter in, say, 2013.
