I received a phishing letter recently, yes letter as in physical paper sent through the mail. Do we have a term for that in cyber security?
Sadly my reply email has fallen on deaf ears and I've not received a response. Perhaps the bit about Uncle Nathan being chased for his money due to the 'accident' at his chemical lab was a little too obvious on the first email.
The flood of "Well I was one of 10K at Microsoft" on my LinkedIn time-line is tragic. So far I've survived, but the mental toll this takes seeing friends and colleagues in this volume is heavy.
Playing with ChatGPT and I may have found a way to solve the phishing email problem. Take all incoming email and add the 'Sumarize for a 2nd Grader' block to the top of the email. If that doesn't look suspect then maybe proceed.
